History and Places
Perched on the crest of the hill, the town of Rodello has a quintessential appearance. The visitor is immediately drawn to the forms of the two opposing bell towers. One of towers belongs to the Parish Church of San Lorenzo and was built by Carlo Francesco Rangone in the seventeenth century. The other is the Church of the Immaculate Conception, which was built in the early decades of the 1700s. This church is now home to the Dedalo Montali Museum of Contemporary Art. In addition to the museum, there is also the Residence, a nursing home and rehabilitation clinic. The town affords sweeping views over the Alba plains and the Tanaro with the Alps in the distance.
